Christmas 2010: New Addition

Dear friends and fam,
I hope that everyone had a very lovely Christmas! We sure did. A few days before Christmas, Dan and I were having a rough day.....so I suprised him with an early Christmas gift!

Her name is Lilly and we absolutely adore her! She is almost 7 weeks old and weighs 6 pounds. She is so sweet and super smart! She is a Golden Retriever, Australian Shepherd mix, so we predict she will be around 35 pounds or so when se is full grown. She loves to be outside and play with Chance.
We were also excited that Devin and Megan and baby Liam were able to come stay with us for a few days. It was so fun to have Liam around, he is such a calm and happy baby.
It has been so nice just chillaxin around the house and spending so much time with Dan! I am really not looking forward to school starting.....On a much happier note, Dan surprised me with a "magical journey" to Disneyland for Christmas!!!!! We are going over my spring break...YAY! The plan is to spend a few days with Devin, Megan, and Liam, then drive on over to Disneyland for about 4 days! So excited for pure happiness! Well, I hope that each of you had a wonderful Holiday Season!!!
love,
Emily

  5. Adorable dog! Golden retrievers have great personalities!! German Shepards belonged to Hitler so... no I'm just kidding! They are really good dogs too! What a fun Christmas! I'm so jealous of the trip to Disneyland!

  6. Looks like a fun Christmas for all! Thanks for the Christmas card. Too bad our trip to Utah wasn't long enough to visit many friends--it would have been fun to catch up.
